Crispin/ Figure in the Landscape/ Paumanok

Paumanok is the Indian Name for Long Island meaning, "fish shaped Island," which Walt Whitman used in his poetry. Crispin is the name of the hero in Wallace Steven's poem The Comedian as the Letter "C".
